The booking assistant is not a POS standard function, but is used in the context of project work, so this precondition applies:

The Hypersoft // system is a standard programme that can be used in many different configurations. The correct application of the topics described here requires expert knowledge and an alignment of expectations, and not all Hypersoft employees and partners are equally trained in all of the topics labelled in this way. This approach ensures that we record your requirements carefully and respond to them in a targeted manner.

This particular solution has functional enhancements in certain places and limitations in others compared to the standard POS checkout mode. Read the chapter first before using the function unplanned.

Of course, you can use the various text functions of the POS system to record and arrange complex change requests. If you work with text-only information, you will not receive stock management data or report data that can be evaluated, and the control options can also be restricted if your operators book too many things by text.

With the booking assistant, you can easily book items with which you can respond to the special wishes of your customers. All bookable changes are also supported by the stock management system, even the grammage can be printed out on order receipts. All these postings can then be evaluated in the reporting of the Report Manager and the ENTERPRISE Report. The special program logic ensures that, despite traceability and flexibility, you do not have to set up too many items and queries. Strictly speaking, you can implement maximum flexibility with a minimum number of items with the posting wizard.

In addition, special items can be halved or divided. A pizza can be booked as two half pizzas and can be filled differently, a large salad can be divided and prepared with different dressings, boeuf can be served divided with different sauces and side dishes. Give your customers a new and particularly individual experience.

The booking assistant is currently only supported by the POS system, not by the ePOS tablet and others.

Special evaluations

Special reports are also available in the Report Manager for evaluating postings with the posting assistant. This enables you to evaluate combinations, changes, and enclosures, for example. The ENTERPRISE Report also supports special postings such as splits with the divisor.

Divisor reports only display items that have been set up in the item master under Divisor. Especially if you want to have items in the reports that are not divisible, you can select this alternative (not divisible) as divisor.

Special documents

The receipts have many setting options anyway. In interface with the booking wizard, you can printthe quantities from queries on the order slip so that, for example, "the kitchen" can better comply with the grammages (these can also be taken into account when dividing).
