Hypersoft Pay Licences
Overview of licences and techniques
Hypersoft Pay licences are used in different areas. In eSolutions, for example, these are included in the webshop, so you do not receive a licence for this. For organisational reasons or for better support, we can assign you a purely informative licence, e.g. Payment Adyen..., with which we do not charge you any fees, but with which you can see at first glance in Support that you are using Adyen Payment.
For connected payment terminals, licences are used per payment terminal (the number of licences then corresponds to the maximum number of simultaneously connected payment terminals). With Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen and Hypersoft Pay powered by wallee, we offeryou fully integrated services, which are connected using modern interfaces created specifically for this purpose. In the variant with Adyen, we are your commercial data centre (your contractual partner) and your contact for all support requests incl. terminals and replacement devices. At wallee we are also your contact, but wallee is your contractual partner and manages the supply and support of the payment terminals for you directly in Switzerland.
In this combination and type, Hypersoft is the only POS manufacturer to support both the German giropay and the Swiss PostFinance Card.
With Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen (and some predecessor versions) there is the option to use the payment terminal for special functions when paying at the table. For this purpose, the supplementary licence Interface 16: Pay@Table is used per location.

Integrated licences for PayPOS
To meet different interests, customers can choose between many constellations of purchase and SaaS or HaaS, depending on their wishes.
HaaS = Hardware as a Service = Hardware is provided for a fee but remains the property of Hypersoft.
SaaS = Software as a Service = Software is made available for a fee but remains the property of Hypersoft

Example: A Hypersoft Pay Terminal Saturn E is to be used on which the mPOS client server is to run. In addition, a Bluetooth printer is to be connected to this unit.
Option 1: 1 x Hypersoft Saturn E Terminal PayPOS Clt + BT Prt (all included in the price of the HaaS or SaaS incl. software maintenance for this requirement. There are only monthly costs)
Option 2: 1 x Hypersoft Saturn E Terminal PayPOS + 1 x Bixolon Bluetooth printer (all included in the price of the HAAS or SaaS incl. software maintenance, but the printer is purchased, which reduces the monthly rental)
Option 3: 1 x Hypersoft Saturn E Terminal POS enabled + 1 x Hypersoft PayPOS + 1 x Bixolon Bluetooth printer (the price of the HAAS does not include software maintenance, this is an additional charge. The printer as well as the PayPOS software (incl. BZV interface licence) are purchased, which reduces the monthly rent, however, software maintenance must be paid for the PayPOS software.)
Hypersoft PayPOS are combinations of payment terminals with Hypersoft mobile POS systems in a single device. We offer multi-licences for the PayPOS system as required. Multi-licences clearly contain several services in a single licence, for example a payment terminal (/HaaS
Hardware as a Service from Hypersoft. As a rule, this is a device that you do not purchase but pay a monthly usage fee for. At Hypersoft, HaaS also includes support or replacement service.), a software licence with service (SaaS) and, if applicable, peripherals (also HaaS).

Extended accessories for PayPOS payment terminals...
Spare batteries, belt pouches, special chargers and the like are not offered in multi-licences, but can be ordered separately depending on the specification. See Saturn F2 (portable) and Saturn EL (mobile) and Saturn E2L.
Interface 14/16/17: Cashless payment transactions
Overview for existing customers with existing connection, for new customers only Hypersoft Pay is available.
This license includes the integration of the cashless booking data into the Hypersoft system as well as the control of the elPAY program and the ZVT protocol to epay and Innocard.
This area is much more than just a simple interface of card devices. See also the information in the sectionOther payment terminals.
The interface of payment terminals with elPAY, epay and others can be done with stationary terminals (serial or network connected) and with mobile terminals via WLAN.
With the Interface 14 for cashless payment transactions you acquire the part of the connection that monitors and executes the communication between the POS terminals and the card devices. The number of licences required for Hypersoft is determined by the number of payment terminals that are connected.

At epay there is no extra charge for cash desks. The service fee of the payment terminals includes these.

Hypersoft reserves the right to charge PAYPAL transaction fees at a later date with prior notice.
This special license is designed to support Full-Service cashless billing via mobile payment terminals. Special solutions produced in collaboration with the data centers AFC and epay (D) and Innocard (CH). The data centers offer specially optimized terminals and terminal software for this purpose. This license is required once per client/location, regardless of the number of terminals. This license has a fixed amount for software maintenance.
With this license our support also helps you with questions about WLAN in connection with card devices which we deliver together with our partners.
IF 17 FuF: Fair use flat payment licence
The Fair use Flat (FuF) Payment licence was designed for special requirements. For example, the licence costs for the middleware Treibauf Pepper are included.
The costs are charged per payment transaction (fair use), but only up to a maximum amount of €25 (flat):
Integration of payment terminals from other providers/intermediaries
We provide support and, depending on the terminal provider, the following services (monthly fixed price for software maintenance of a maximum of 25,-€, or depending on the use after transaction approx. from the end of 2023 correspondingly less).
As standard, our Hypersoft Pay terminals are coordinated and adapted with the suppliers/payment providers. Thanks to our referral to our partners, they support us with support, so that we have included the integration of the terminals free of charge in the new Hypersoft UX licence concept (no interface costs for you). This licence allows you to connect the same or other terminals to Hypersoft POS systems that have not been ordered from or brokered through Hypersoft. There are several variants here:
⦁ You use devices listed under Hypersoft Pay and do not need to pay attention to anything else.
⦁ You use 3rd party devices that are approved as compatible and do not have to observe anything. However, changes on the part of 3rd parties can lead to disruptions.
⦁ You want to use a 3rd party device for which we have no experience. After ordering this licence, you can send the desired device to us for testing after consultation with our support. The test can then usually be carried out free of charge for you. However, changes on the part of 3rd parties can lead to disruptions. It is better to use devices that are compatible with the Pepper interface.
Drifting Pepper
As an interface, we use our own drivers or, better, Treibauf Pepper (market leader in the DACH region in this segment), as required. Hypersoft will cover the costs of the Treibauf Pepper licences for you. Please note the information on whether the payment terminal you wish to use is compatible. For logical reasons, the Y-PayTec mobile device POS enabled licence is assigned as PayPOS per PayTec payment terminal for our support (free of charge).
No longer current IF 17 External connection:
Interface 17: External connection to payment terminal...
Combined cashless payment transactions. External connection (EC) card device via ZVT. No extension for full service possible and adjustments special service fee (monthly fixed price for software maintenance of 25,-€ per terminal from Innocard or third-party devices).
If you use this third-party connection for terminals that are used mobile via WLAN, we cannot provide support for the connection via WLAN. If you wish, please use equipment from our partner companies, with whom we have coordinated configuration and support.

Please contact the supplier of the ec/KK terminals (Innocard or others) regarding PCI Complience and GDPdu/GoBD conformity. Hypersoft may only be able to provide limited answers to any subsequent questions regarding financial audits concerning ec/kk transactions, or we refer you to the suppliers of the (EC) card devices. Questions about third-party ec/kk devices cannot be answered by Hypersoft Support. Please note that the separation of the payment channels in Germany was already demanded in the BMF letter of 09.01.1996 and in practice without connected terminals and with tips in full service is usually difficult to trace due to manual incorrect bookings.

Interface 15: B + S Card service connection (now Payone Germany)
EC and credit card terminals from B+ S Card-Service can also be connected via ZVT. The interface is made exclusively by cable. A special programme from B + S communicates with their terminals and is addressed by the checkout mode of the Hypersoft POS. The interface is required per terminal.

IF 17 FuF: Fair Use Flat and Luca Licensing for luca Payment Terminals and PayPOS devices
There are several ways of working with luca.
If you want to use payment terminals or Hypersoft PayPOS with luca Payment in addition to the Luca app, you need a licence for each location (Hypersoft client):
IF 17: Fair Use Flat (FuF) Luca Location
This enables payment with Luca Payment via Luca payment terminals or additionally licensed Hypersoft PayPOS mobile devices with integrated Luca Payment at this location. This licence is issued once per location and enables the use of the proprietary Luca payment terminals. Additional PayPOS licences per device can be added as an option.
In order to differentiate between Hypersoft PayPOS licences and those that operate on luca devices, we have adapted the PayPOS licence by name:
Hypersoft mPOS PayPOS Client LUCA
The extension ...Client LUCA indicates that luca is responsible for hardware support in these cases.
Interface 70: Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen Portal
Access for one user after training by Hypersoft. Only users who have been directly trained by Hypersoft are explicitly allowed to use the portal. 1-5 participants from the same company can be certified per training. Each user of the portal is represented by a licence (2,-€ fixed price per month).
