Pager query

Pagers can be assigned to bookings. When orders are completed, operators can manually call the numbers on different pager systems, as orders can be visibly assigned to pagers.

Manually assign pager at POS and mPOS

With the cash register function Assign pager it is possible to assign a pager to the item at any time during booking. Several pagers can also be assigned to one operation. This will ask for the pager to be assigned to all items posted up to the time the checkout function is performed. An operator can then book more items and assign them to another pager. If a transaction is reopened and posted to again, then the pager is assigned for all bookings for which no order voucher has yet been triggered and which have not yet been assigned to a pager.

If the cash register function Assign pager is used, the number block for entering the pager number appears. Alternatively, you can enter the pager number first and use the cash register function Assign Pager to carry out the assignment immediately.

Pagers are applied retroactively to bookings after booking. Further (new) bookings do not have a pager assignment if it is not reassigned. Thus, the pager assignment should always take place at the end of the bookings.

Valid pager numbers are permitted in the range 1-9999. This is checked on entry and rejected if necessary.

If pagers are included in an operation, they are mentioned in the display text when the operation is opened: Table / Customer xxxx Pager No. 12,13.

Assign pager on mPOS...

The allocation is made according to the above rules.

After booking the items, select the Pager command in the mPOS options.

A pager is requested. This is then applied to bookings that have already been made and printed on the receipts. Alternatively, a pager can be scanned directly in the operation as described under Automatic Pager Assignment. A confirmation appears:

Example order receipt with pager number...

On an order receipt, the pager number is written at the bottom:

Automatic pager assignment

If the pager has a QR code with the following format, the pager is automatically assigned to the corresponding bookings at the POS and mPOS after scanning from an open transaction according to the rules of manual assignment.

Format for automatic pager number...

PAGER=xxxx

xxx stands for the pager number, the word pager must be included in the code in capital letters as PAGER and with an equal sign without spaces followed by the respective pager number.

Activate pager constraint in the ward setting

If the switch is activated in the ward management, each time a transaction is completed (new balance or cash), the system asks for a pager, which is then assigned to the bookings. If a transaction is reopened and posted to again, then all bookings for which no order voucher has yet been triggered and which have not yet been assigned to a pager will be asked for a pager again.

mPOS settings for pager compulsory...

The setting Request pager in the mPOS system has the effect that for bookings for which no pager has been selected, a pager is requested when the table is closed (new balance / invoice). The entry is made as described above.

Pager with Quick Check-In at the SOT

In the operation mode Operation Card with the Easy Check-In mode, you can use a pager system (guest call), which the user must scan or optionally enters at the SOT when completing the order.

Activate the pagers:

Under Texts and Designations, the designations for the pager can be set individually.

Activate the Pager codes validity check...... in the ward settings.
