Setting up the keyboard and layout |
The keyboard is made available to you in demo mode (no real bookings are generated). You can register for this as you like, as the secret number is not checked. As long as you do not connect to the web server with this button or with the Connect to server button or you change the configuration selection (the interface to the web server is disconnected), only the Settings and System settings tabs are available. The current CLOU MOBILE configuration is saved, but the WebService is deliberately not informed to avoid (constant) updating on the mobile devices. To do this if necessary, you can use the Update master data HSLOCAL button in the System settings tab if no subsystem is running (yet). |
server address | IP of the CLOU service in the form x.x.x.x (input as usual for an IP address). |
Only use items with the following settings |
mPOS uses the product group assignment to create categories for the selection of product keys and to create the product keys themselves. Alternatively, you can also use merchandise groups that can be used particularly efficiently on the mobile device (select All items without restrictions or Only items with merchandise groups). The selection and use of sales merchandise groups is a very important decision and optimisation option when the item master is extensive. The program restarts when this setting is changed. Alternatively, you can use the Assortment function to use only the marked items in the mPOS system. If an item has the groups: "FOOD / WARM FOOD" and as sales goods group "Dishes / Salads", then this item isaller Artikel aus Speisen listed twice</mtlingo>with announcement " ". Filtering this unfortunately overloads the performance of the mobile device. With the full text search this is easier and items appear only once. If you work with a large number of items, working with the mobile device can slow down noticeably when using merchandise groups. Further documentation: Noteworthy information on product groups |
Forms and assignment of the accounting keys |
The number of keys in the billing dialogue is determined dynamically up to four keys, so that unused billing keys are not displayed in the dialogue. A form and a payment type can be assigned to each settlement mode. The payment methods can be assigned here. The labelling of the accounting keys can be freely adjusted. Forms can be used according to the assignment in the currency table and are then used according to the payment type. You can use a Without Print button to settle a transaction without printing a form, but this is not legally compliant in Germany, for example, because you have a document output obligation. Example with four and two occupied accounting keys for comparison:
If you select Show all payment types in Queries, all payment types are offered for selection from the currency table (Not currently offered are: foreign currencies, vouchers, deposits and withdrawals, prepaid or skimming.) Thus, On Room, Cash, Credit, Customer Account and Cheque are available. |
