Easy Check-In

With Easy Check-In, customers receive a card that is either simply issued or activated before issue (is entered in Whitelist). This process is usually not controlled by a cash register terminal, and even when entering the card into the whitelist, a brief reading by swiping past a contactless card reader is sufficient. A minimal dialogue confirms the read-in.

You can also use special cards (employee, manager, discount or price levels), see Noteworthy aspects of the cashless area.

Example of a Standard Easy Check-In Restaurant

The system is set to use the whitelist with the switch Check validity of cards. There is a POS terminal at the entrance that is used to charge customers. At this terminal there are two transponder readers set up .

A reader is used for cashier mode settlement. In the standard system, cards are combinedif guests want to pay together. When the cards are charged, the checkout function Deactivate MP card on all closing keys ensures that the cards are temporarily removed from the whitelist so that they do not represent a usable card limit and thus do not have to be particularly "guarded". In addition, this station has been set to ignore the card limit. The latter is necessary due to combining the cards or because customers still want to purchase special goods on the same bill during check-out that could exceed the protected card limit (vouchers or a bottle of wine, etc.).

The same or another operator hands out cards to new customers. In doing so, he guides them past the second transponder reader. This was set on QUICK Check-In that the cards are initialised with a card limit of 50,- and the cards are automatically entered in the whitelist.

Easy Check In with SOT (Self Order Terminal)

You can use a Self Order Terminal with the Easy Check in so that customers enter orders themselves and book them onto the card. For functions and setup of this combination, please see SOT with Closed Loop System.
