Kitchen Monitor in locations

The installation of a Kitchen Monitor in a central/branch system is divided into two parts:

  1. The institution in the headquarters
  2. Configuration in the Store

Warning of partial operation at some locations

If you only equip some of your locations with Kitchen Monitor systems, pay attention to all settings with preparation times, because these are also used for bonorder delays. Careless allocation of preparation times leads to "controlled but probably unwanted" bonorder delays in your companies without Kitchen Monitor.

You can activatethe Kitchen Monitor System in the order voucher setting to generally deactivate the delay.

Installation in the head office

  • Create or modify items for the Kitchen Monitor.
  • Creating Preparation Times in the Global Table .
  • Assignpreparation times to items .
  • Creating ordergroups . The names of the order groups and the assignment of the items to them are transferred by clearing to the locations (not the respective settings and printer assignments of the order groups).
  • Create the stations for the Kitchen Monitor. When additional clients are created, the station settings are copied from the central client. If the locations already exist, you must (and can) make the station settings in the head office for each client (location).
  • Customize the keyboards for the cashier mode with functions such as the menu item Sharing (you can also set up automatic sharing).

Configurations in any location with Kitchen Monitor

  • Activate the option Kitchen Supervisor o in the ward management under General. Usinga Ticket Printer .
  • Create a non-print printer and assign it to the receipt order locations that are now directed to the Kitchen Monitors. The non-print printer ensures that these items are not printed on order receipts.
  • Activate the Kitchen Monitor control file Kitchendisplay o in the Bonorder settings for the Kitchen Monitor. Ticketprinter .
  • Assign the affected receipt order settings of the items to the non-print printer.
  • Assign the items to the Kitchen Monitors.
  • Configure the Kitchen Supervisor to evaluate printers, participating stations, and other system settings of the Kitchen Monitor system.
  • Customize the mPOS or Clou Mobile system with features like menu item sharing.
  • To be on the safe side, check that only the Bonorder of the Kitchen Monitor has the check mark on Control file Kitchen Display o. Ticket printer is activated. If a copy of the receipt order of the non-print printer also has this option, the items would be handed over several times to the Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Check that all items sent to the receipt orders for the Kitchen Monitor have a production station assigned to them.
