Operational master information

The master information contains basic data of the company such as name, address and settings. This is referred to as client data. If you work with more than one client, special requirements arise for the exchange of information. Further information for head offices with locations can be found in the chapter Location Management and Networking.

The client structure

Hypersoft Suite supports multiple client management. Within a client, there can be any number of sales points. If you have several companies, these are managed as individual clients.

In general, the following is defined in the client structure:

  • Supplier data can either be managed per client or there is a common supplier master for all clients.
  • The currency table exists only once and is valid for all clients.
  • Customer data and customer cards are always valid for all clients.
  • The employee data is self-sufficient per client.

It is also possible to manage several client master records on separate systems in your head office, for example as a separate system per country or language.

The Hypersoft Suite is available in English or German. To work with several clients in the item master, go to the corresponding chapter: Location Management in the item master

Client structure and languages

If you want to build a corporate structure across multiple countries and languages, you should consider which language you use internally to set up the items. Maybe it's better to agree on one language.

Example: Even if the item master supports many possibilities, for example to name milk in England Milk, it can be practical to use only one unit bottle, which each country can understand, instead of having to maintain different terms for each language at this point in the program.
