eCommerce area

In the eCommerce area of the item master, certain information can be stored that is important for the eCommerce area.

Also note the Additives Allergens and Tags section of the item master, as well as the Nutritional Values section of the item master to add further information.

Base price per piece, kilo or litre

By default, the switch is Inactive , so that none of the three units are used in eCommerce. If required, choose accordingly.

The base price is mandatory for certain packaged products. The base price is used by the consumer to compare prices by converting them to a comparable basis such as litres or kilos (or pieces).

This item has a quantity of 0.33 litre and as standard price 0.49

Thus 0.49 divided by 33 times 100 sells for 1.48 per litre (rounded).

List of ingredients (formerly ingredients)

The list of ingredients (formerly ingredients) is a way of specifying ingredients and ingredients for the sale of packaged products (which you usually buy ready-made). A further standard for additives is included in the Hypersoft item master in the Additives, allergens and tags tab. In the list of ingredients, a word can be marked with * (asterisk) so that it is displayed as bold for users in eCommerce.

Example:

This is a *test* is displayed to users as This is a test.

Responsible company (formerly distributor)

The responsible company is not necessarily your supplier, but the company that brings the product to market. However, this is a very simplified definition of the Product Safety Act. Depending on the product type and nature of your business, other rules may also apply to you (example medicine, chemicals, etc.).

Name and address refer to the respective company, country of origin and manufacturer refer to the production.

A comma in the Responsible company area creates a line break in the text output to the eCommerce programmes.

Compatibility with Deliverect

Deliverect requires a special division of the fields:

Distributor: The text before the first comma is transmitted as "name", the text after as address.

Ingredients: The ingredients are all submitted separately, separated by commas.
