Starting with Microsoft Mobile 6.5 (Microsoft Mobile 6.5 Embedded Handheld has a lifetime cycle until April in 2022 and is not an outdated mobile phone operating system). |
Devices with barcode scanners only from Hypersoft, for your security and convenience, should use mobile devices configured by Hypersoft. |
The software communicates via the /IIS![]() |
mPOS as PayPOS devices |

These devices are approved individually by the respective data centres and offered by Hypersoft accordingly. |

Requirements as for a cash terminal or higher. With many cash registers or particularly high booking volumes and desired fast response times, plan in stronger devices or please coordinate with Hypersoft. |
Printer driver required
For all Hypersoft programs that generate a print output on Windows printers it is mandatory to have at least one printer driver installed under Windows, even if you "only" start the preview/view.
Virtual servers are basically no problem with Hypersoft programs and are widely used. However, especially in connection with virtual servers, make sure to assign sufficient power to them. Be aware that certain devices may not be available on ports of VPN-encapsulated operating systems. If you have any questions, please contact your Hypersoft representative.
You can use VPN in connection with Hypersoft at your own risk. However, it is not part of our standard and cannot be processed by Standard Support. When using VPN, you should also indicate that you are using VPN when making support calls if your support call may be related to it. Do not use VPN technology to connect the SQL database, see also VPN is not a supported standard for SQL.......
It can happen that "bad" or "wrong" backup programs block database access, for example if these programs are then executed by timer (unintentionally) during business operation. The easiest way to avoid unwanted side effects is to use Hypersoft's integrated data backup. Administrators should consult with their Hypersoft representative about more extensive backups.
Hypersoft can send e-mail on behalf of your domain. This way of sending e-mails is used by several Hypersoft programmes, examples: CONTROLLER, Mobile-People Accounting, Reservation, Webshop, YourAPP...
This procedure is a so-called email spoofing, as Hypersoft cannot be the legal domain owner of your domain. However, since spoofing can also be used for SPAM eMails, for example, many e-mail providers (those responsible for transport and delivery) have implemented an "SPF validation" (Sender Policy Framework), which checks whether the e-mail sent has also been released by the legitimate domain owner.
Hypersoft has a great interest in this and recommends that you give absolute priority to securing the delivery of these mails with all technical means.
If the e-mails sent via Hypersoft cannot be delivered to your customers or if they end up in your customers' SPAM directory, this is usually due to a failed SPF validation.
To ensure the delivery of the mails, please add our Hypersoft e-mail servers to the list of safe senders in your domain administration. This is done, for example, by adding the following TXT entry to the DNS zone file of your domain:
v=spf1 a mx include:spf.mailjet.com include:_spf.kundenserver.de include:_spf.perfora.net include:spf.protection.outlook.com a:mo4-p05-ob.smtp.rzone.de ~all
Please forward this information to your domain administrator or IT administrator and please understand that we can only provide limited support for this due to the variety of different options offered by the many providers.
The IIS is particularly used in conjunction with the mPOS system. use IIS systems configured by Hypersoft. If you want to test your IIS see Test IIS.
Warning against web guards or maximum number of work processes in IIS...
This setting in IIS must be set to 1 (default). Higher settings may speed up the IIS and thus the mobile devices, but at the same time lead to dysfunctionality.
