Webclearing

Web clearing is responsible for the bidirectional exchange of information and compares the master data of the site clients with that of the master client. It also receives the transaction data from the locations in order to make it available for evaluation in the head office. A Webclearing Server program is set up at the head office and a Web Clearing Client program is set up at each location. Both programs operate fully automatically and regularly ensure the fully automatic adjustment via an Internet connection.

Processing of master data at the head office / location

Details of the processing location can be found in the Specifications and exceptions of the site management table.

Example to be processed exclusively in the head office...

  • categories
  • Points of sale (and item assignment)
  • price level
  • casualities
  • units
  • control settings
  • Edit item master depending on the settings offered
  • New items and deletion of items only in the head office
  • The processing of kitchen capacities must take place exclusively in the location; for the preparation of new branches, specifications can be entered in the head office, but these are then only transported once to the location via data backup (*1 ).
  • Disposition: Stock specifications behave exactly like kitchen capacities.
  • Preliminary planning of the budget planning (the detailed planning, however, only in the location)
  • Setting the TTA

(*1) When you prepare a new location, you create all master data for it and can then use the Hypersoft Suite data backup to transport this data to the location once (at the start).

Example to be processed exclusively at the location...

The following may only be entered in the location to be transferred to the central office with the web clearing:

  • cash postings
  • Stock data of basic items
  • Purchase orders and goods receipt postings
  • time recording data
  • Detailed planning of the budget planning (planning takes place in the head office)

Requirements for the interface

A interface to the Internet is sufficient for interface and data transfer. The central server must be accessible from outside at all times via the Internet,

  1. via fixed Internet IP (SDSL, ADSL) or via DYNDNS (ADSL)

  2. the corresponding web service port must reach the server unhindered. If the IIS is set by default, it is port 80, but this can be freely set in the IIS.

If a router is used, make sure that all shares are set up. The sites must be able to connect to the Internet at any time without user intervention.

Installing the Web Service

The Web Service components must be installed and configured on a Web Server. The Web Service component automatically accesses and makes available Hypersoft data.

Technical basis

Web Clearing uses Microsoft Internet Information Services. Internet Information Server (also Internet Information Services) (IIS) is the name for certain functions for publishing documents and files on the Internet and Intranet that are provided by Microsoft Windows servers.

Please note that the data transfer is not encrypted. If necessary, set up SSL encryption to meet data protection requirements.

No active POS system may run in the central office and the same system may be set up as a web clearing server at the same time.

Defective data tables...

If data tables are defective, the web clearing documents the error and then continues with the next tables.

safety precaution

Before transferring posting data from the internal F_tables to the head office, Web clearing checks whether there are more posting transactions in the head office. If this is the case, a protocol message is sent to Hypersoft by email and the booking data of the locations is not transmitted to the head office for the time being.

Configuring the Store Keyboard

With the program Webclearing Central Settingsyou can better overview and set up the keyboards for many locations.
