SOT - Self Order Terminal Licences
The Self Order Kiosk (or Self Order Terminal SOT) is equipped with one SOT licence per device in the UX licence model. Especially in connection with a Hypersoft webshop, the set-up and use is very simple, as it is largely identical. The licence requires an existing CloudBOX licence for the site.
Licences required:
The SOT uses the TSEs of the POS system. A TSE online archive is recommended (for use in Germany).

Not required:
The SOT system does not require a licence for the Actian ZEN SQL database.
The SOT system is connected to both the master data and the POS system without any additional interfaces.
Campaigns & Activities:
There are no campaign or activity fees for SOT use.
Onboarding
There are one-off costs for onboarding, as we preconfigure the system individually for you. Please ask for a flat rate if you are interested.

Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT
Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT is the programme licence per SOT. It includes the use of the SOT software on a SOT device from Hypersoft, so no further licences are required. For performance see: eSolutions Self-Order Kiosk (SOT)
Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT External-Payment
In conjunction with Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen, a payment terminal licence is included in the SOT price. However, if you are using other payment terminals not supplied or brokered by Hypersoft, you will need the Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT External-Payment licence. Please note that without Hypersoft Pay there may be functional limitations, e.g. cashless payments from the SOT cannot be processed directly from the POS without Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen. With this licence, you also receive support for the standard ZVT connection. In contrast to Hypersoft Pay, you then have to contact the payment terminal itself for issues relating to the payment terminal.
Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT Third Party Device
When you choose a SOT kiosk/device from Hypersoft by Hypersoft, you can be sure that all drivers for the peripherals are aligned and working. However, if you are using other Self Order Kiosk / devices not supplied or procured by Hypersoft, you will need the Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT third party device licence. Please note that there may be quality restrictions as our SOT configurations are of higher quality than the respective standard of the units. It may even be that the printer, scanner, operating system, animated graphics etc. are not compatible. With this licence, you receive support for the standard drivers as well as for them. Unlike with Hypersoft units, you must contact the respective manufacturer for questions concerning the unit itself.
If you use third-party devices that we do not supply in identical construction, you can send them to us for testing before installation. After installation, we ask you to permanently provide us with an identical unit for testing purposes at your own risk.
Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT Headquarters
The Hypersoft UX Self Order Kiosk SOT Central licence is added free of charge in a Central for logical reasons. This allows you to make the SOT settings from the centre and our support recognises that you are using this technology from the centre.
