TAG and feature management

The terms TAG and characteristics refer to the freely definable TAGs that you can assign to customers and items and also to things like allergens and ingredients. Allergens and ingredients for food are largely standardised and can be assigned to the items in the Hypersoft Item Master. However, your customers and your concept works with likes and dislikes that go beyond allergens and ingredients, plus an "allergen talk" would not necessarily be the right introduction for a new customer. But a nut-allergic vegetarian who likes spicy food should feel just as comfortable in your digital world as in a service conversation at the table. Therefore, TAGs are likes or dislikes that you define freely and that can - but do not have to - be coupled with the allergens and ingredients that are essential for your business and your guests in a shortlist, so to speak. This also allows you to professionally manage and communicate likes and dislikes for meat, veganism, alcohol, or simple things like "likes spicy".

In most food-processing establishments, it has indeed become essential to cater to guests' intolerances and preferences. Not only vegan and vegetarian preferences, but massive aversions up to dangerous allergies can actually make a visit to a restaurant a torture and cause anxiety for those affected. Respect the realities and use these digital processes to avoid conflict for your guests and your business success , complement the techniques offered here and advise guests according to their personal taste.
