Organize order groups
Order groups are the basis for order vouchers and each order group represents an order voucher setting and its name. An order slip is used for the operational organisation of orders and is used in catering establishments when goods are to be issued or prepared against a receipt. One could also internally call an order receipt an order document or a production instruction. It can be regarded as an internal delivery note or also as a goods issue slip. An order voucher is an essential part of the operational organisation, so it is worth informing yourself about the possibilities to organise your operational processes with it.
Order receipts are often printed via remote printers at the point of production, organised on terminal strips in kitchens and produced as label stickers in the takeaway. An order voucher can be designed in many different ways, e.g. it can be produced as an additional overview voucher in addition to individual vouchers, for large orders there can be a summary and of course sorting according to different requirements, usually then according to menu courses.
Structural order distribution
So-called order groups serve as the basis for organising the receipt orders; each item that is to be printed on an order receipt is assigned to an order group. As there are also different requirements for several checkout stations, you can define the same or different layouts and targets for each station.
All items with the same order group are combined in one order ticket. The POS station at which the item is booked and thus the printing is initiated determines how the order receipt is designed and on which printer this print is output. Therefore, not only can each item be treated differently, but a different design and target can also be specified for each checkout station. For more extensive requirements for organisational management in the production process, we recommend the KITCHEN MONITOR System II.

A Kitchen Monitor System solves requirements that cannot be solved with normal order vouchers or that work more simply.
