Setting Hypersoft mPOS
mPOS is a program that runs on mobile order terminals. This area is also used to set up the mPOS Tablet and CLOU MOBILE for Windows.
These settings are configured within the MCP of the Hypersoft Suite. The information is stored there and can be conveniently transferred to the device.
Regardless of how many mobile devices you use, one station of the type CLOU MOBILE (as subsystem) must be set up once per mPOS/CLOU MOBILE "Server". Smart Swap allows you to apply the settings of another till by using a specific till number. This POS has assigned a point of sale via your station setting so that its settings apply. This point of sale can be selected in the station settings.
Load balancing optimisation....
For integration in the POS system, the control should run via a subsystem or as a separate POS station.
In this context, first see the section Use subsystems.
For CLOU MOBILE for Windows, the following applies in addition...
If you are working with Microsoft Mobile for Handheld, please install ActiveSync first ( for mobile devices based on Microsoft Mobile 6.5) and make sure that the CLOU Mobile Webservice has been set up (otherwise only one can do the configuration base without further details for the devices). The connection is made with a USB cable connection. See also Connect MS 6.x mobile device to MCP.
mPOS and ePOS Tablet are simply connected via the LAN. Later, after setup in normal operation, all master data in all systems are automatically updated when an operator logs on via the LAN or WLAN (so no ActiveSync or USB connection is required anymore). Updates of the mobile programs also take place automatically.

Setting the mPOS program
Select a station and activate mPOS or CLOU Mobile control. A new button for setting up the system is displayed.
You can set up different configurations and select per station where a Clou IIS is running. This makes it possible to run several mobile systems within one client. Use the Setup button to make the setting. The symbol next to the selection allows you to manage the CLOU schemata.

Offline operation
If the web server is accessible, but the server of the POS system is offline, this is clearly indicated in the Info key in the main menu of the CLOU MOBILE. In offline mode, the same restrictions apply as with POS, as the server is not accessible (no customers / cards / availability, prepaid hotel connection, etc.). In addition, the cashier mode cannot complete any operations.
The web server does not immediately return to the online status when the server is available again. If online operation can be resumed, this is offered in the key (right). When pressing the button, you may have to confirm a security question. If there are connection problems, the mPOS Handheld Connection Service also appears:
