mPOS full-service functions

The hypersoft mPOS extensions are basically included in the Hypersoft mPOS license, or are extended by global supplementary licenses. Example: If you extend the Hypersoft system with the MOBILE PEOPLE customer base, this is available not only at the Hypersoft POS but also at the Hypersoft mPOS.

Hypersoft mPOS fax and SMS function

The fax function can be called from the Options list. Fax allows a handwritten note to the previously booked item and sends it on the order form.

With Reset the note is deleted to be recreated, with Confirm the note is saved and the dialog is closed. If you switch on the SMS function, you can enter texts as with an SMS, which can even be supplemented together with the fax function.

A query can decide whether a new item is to be posted when posting subsequently. Please see Query booking with fax for individual booking.

The fax and SMS function can be quickly accessed by clicking once in the title bar above and then selecting Fax in the options.

The fax info can optionally be sent as a fax or as text. Equivalent to the POS "Add text info" is "painted" into the image and the as text button is deactivated. (Not available with older Windows Mobile devices).

Fraud warning with free texts...

In order to control your employees, make sure that orders could also be placed by faxes which, in contrast to bookings, are not traceable - an employee can book 2 schnitzels and also "fax 10 schnitzels". Therefore, if necessary (without any other control concept), switch off the fax function or check the order receipts.

Assigning and changing menu courses

You get the support of menu bars to which you can assign items. Optionally, you can activate the Release menu option in the mPOS settings in order to trigger the order (print or display on the Kitchen Display) only at a later command. For space reasons, the menus are only displayed with numbers when viewed in lists and in the header information. You can also create menu courses directly as keys.

The selected menu is displayed with every item booking. Menu courses can also be changed during input (for items not yet booked). To do this, press 0.5 seconds in the left area of the item ( in the process overview ) until the Select menu dialog is displayed. You can then choose a different menu for this item. At the same time, the selected menu is also used for the following (new bookings), as if a menu had been selected via the Options menu

If you close the menu select with X or wipe, NO menu is selected. This also resets already activated menu items.

The Fast gear change function allows you to change the assigned menu gear quickly. The selected gear is displayed at the top of the header and is applied to all items selected in the list.

Booking is not possible. The function is deactivated again when you call up the Functions menu, change the page or leave the process. Pressure schemes of the menu courses are also supported. Use print scheme Further documentation:

Menu gear Enable

Depending on the setting of the CLOU Mobile, menu courses are released immediately or can be released manually. If manual release is desired, all menu operations that have not yet been released are always displayed when the operation is closed. In the list that appears, you can select one of several menus.

Once you have made your selection, confirm with Done, only then will the corresponding order vouchers be created or the orders shown on the Kitchen Display.

Phantom mode on the mPOS

The Phantom mode allows you to work in a supportive way, but to use the login names of the other operators. It then always looks as if the actual operator had worked. In case of misunderstandings, in cashier mode you can see in the transaction details that, for example, the manager has booked for another operator.

Please refer to the chapter Work as another POS operatorfor the area Phantom mode on mPOS and Clou Mobile.

Seat numbers on the mPOS

You can also subdivide the table numbers by up to 99 seat numbers so that orders can be served by other operators with exact seat numbers. It can also be used to support the splitting of invoices. You can also create seat numbers directly as keys.

Optionally, you can set CLOU Mobile so that the display of already used seats appears when you open an operation. This will give you the option to continue booking this seat directly or to assign a new seat number in this process.

The seat number is displayed with every item booking.

With the quick change function, you can quickly change assigned place numbers for several items. The selected location is displayed at the top of the header and is applied to all items selected in the list. Booking is not possible. The function is deactivated again when you call up the Functions menu, change the page or leave the process.

If seats are booked in the table, the contained seats are offered for selection beforehand during splitting/transfer and several seats can also be selected.

This selection automatically filters out the relevant items and you can select them again in the following display for splitting and transferring - or simply accept them all with the All button.

Availability items on the mPOS

Corresponding items are checked immediately when booking. The top header always shows Check availability when an availability item is booked, because the check takes about half a second to one second. If the item is not available, a corresponding message appears and the item is not posted.

In the system settings of the CLOU Mobile you can define the stock from which items are already listed in the main menu under Info. There you will see the addition V:and the number of items that are no longer available. For example, V:2 will be displayed if there are two items that are no longer available. When Info is pressed, a detailed list appears.

If messages to an operator are also available, N:1 is displayed before it, for example. Example N:1 / V:2.
