Webclearing and Trading Area Clearing Licenses
There are two different methods of networking operations using Internet interface. The default is web clearing. Web clearing connects branches with a head office. Each branch (and also the head office) is a separate client.
With point of sale clearing, all "locations" remain within a client. For example, trading area clearing connects individual points of sale that cannot be connected to a network.
A combination of both models is also possible. For example, the trading area clearing can connect the POS terminals within a client (without network) and then this client can be connected to a central office together with other clients via web clearing.

Recommended: If the individual locations are complex, i.e. have several VK offices. If you want to use your own inventory management at the individual locations. | Recommended: Within a property if cash registers with their own point of sale cannot be connected via network. |
Restrictions: None. | Restrictions (excerpt): The stock of the point of sale is delayed in the head office. He's not at the point of sale. Transfer acceptance and ordering from cashier mode cannot be used directly (e.g. only via RDP). |
Reports across multiple locations possible with Enterprise Reports. Individual locations can be evaluated using the Report Manager. | No enterprise reports possible, but all reports in the Report Manager are possible. |
More than one item master possible. Variances per client (branch) are supported. | There can only be one item master. However, items can be assigned to different points of sale by being assigned to the point of sale. |
Licensing: This is done in the Hypersoft standard. | Licensing: VK-Clearing locations are licensed like individual clients. Different: All licenses in one contract (only one basic fee). Exceptions: There are special simplified sales clearing licenses for the CONTROLLER, vouchers and personnel planning. Since the demands on the programs are usually lower here, fewer functions are sufficient. This also saves costs for licenses. |
Example: A chain of stores in which the individual locations also make their own decisions. Place your own orders with your own suppliers, check the stock yourself and settle your own accounts. There is no limit to the number of cash registers and sales points within the branches. And other possibilities... |
Example: A branch system that is largely controlled by the head office and usually has only one or a few cash registers per branch. With extension licenses, simple orders can be triggered and the stock can also be controlled. This requires a interface to the control center. Not all variants allow you to run your own evaluation in the store. You can do this in the head office. And other possibilities... |

Webclearing licences for sites
If you have a licence for the Webclearing Central in the central office, you can make many settings centrally.
Each branch receives a Webclearing Client license. Branches do not need their own Report Manager or Backoffice license if they do not create their own reports.
By the way, it is not allowed to avoid a "missing" license for the branch by getting access to the evaluation programs such as Report Manager of the BACKOFFICE SUITE in the head office from the branch. In this case, a separate license must be purchased for each branch.

Special Webclearing site licences from Classic Model
The following licences will not be continued in the new UX licence model. For locations, the respective standard licences are used without these restrictions:
In certain circumstances, you can use web clearing with clearing extensions, which are usually cheaper than the main licences but also provide fewer features.
Standard vouchers in locations...
If you have a BACKOFFICE SUITE license in the head office and connect the branches via web clearing, you can use the vouchers in the branch with the Web Clearing Extension Voucher Management license. However, the vouchers "act" independently per branch. General credit balances are only available with web vouchers. With web vouchers you use a different license model.

Stock Management in Branches...
If you have a CONTROLLER license (with at least one sales office) at your head office and would like to use inventory management, control and orders (limited to 1 sales office) at your branch office, you can use the CONTROLLER web clearing extension license.

Personnel planning in branches...
If you use the StaffOrganizer Duty Schedule license in the head office and all employee data is created there, then you can use the Web Clearing Extension to Duty Schedule license in branches in which a maximum of 10 employees work. If you have more employees, you also need a license for the duty roster in the branches.
