Licensing in one centre
If a Hypersoft system is running in your head office, the central settings and master data are defined here. Booking data is usually transmitted to the head office for evaluations.
Depending on how many workstations you want to use in the centre, you need the corresponding number of MCP Workplace Licences. The MCP licences come with basic Actian SQL database licences. To network these with each other and with a server, you need additional Actian SQL database licences.
Client number and productive systems in the head office...
Only client number 1 may be used for the client at the head office. This can also be used as a productive system with cash registers or web shops. Under no circumstances may client 1 then be used again as a location system. The locations start from client 2.
eSolutions CloudBOX at the head office and in locations
The CloudBOX for eSolutions offers you, among other things, a reserved web space on which your data is securely stored and which can optionally be integrated into the entire Hypersoft system landscape. A CloudBOX licence must be licensed by each location and the head office that uses eSolutions, which may also be the head office. The Hypersoft UX CloudBOX is therefore required for every site participating in the Hypersoft eSolutions system. You do not need a Hypersoft UX CloudBOX for your head office if the head office does not use a web shop, web voucher shop or other licences that also requirea Hypersoft UX CloudBOXin locations.
web clearing
A Webclearing Server licence is required in the head office and a Webclearing Client licence in each of the locations in order to synchronise the POS systems and other desktop programmes. Both programmes operate fully automatically and regularly ensure bidirectional synchronisation via an internet connection.

Backoffice Suite licence at head office
The Backoffice Suite licence is normally added at the head office. With this licence you can evaluate as many locations as you like.

Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer Licence at Head Office
The licence has two different areas of application:
-
Provision of the data and the Enterprise Reports programme for the direct creation of evaluations. For more information, see Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer.
-
Provision of the data and the programme Enterprise Reports to use the data for 3rd party programmes. These are programmes from the area of BI evaluations and duty roster programmes. Information on this in the section 3rd party BI evaluations, gastromatic integration, Turnover data for: E2N, Sales data for: Rota
Hypersoft creates special databases for this report and hosts them on a web server. The programme uses special techniques to achieve particularly fast results when evaluating large amounts of data. The computing time on our server is included as a flat rate. If the use exceeds the underlying planned computing time, an adjustment of the remuneration may become necessary. Before any additional costs are incurred by you, you will be notified and can terminate the service at no additional cost.
You need these licences at the locations and in the central...
-
If you use Enterprise Reports at a site and or provide 3rd parties with data directly from the site, you need an Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer licence. For each additional 3rd party connection at the site, you need another Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer there.
-
If you collect Enterprise Report data per location in the head office to create evaluations with Enterprise Reports, you need the number of Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer licences in the head office according to the number of locations. With this number, you can also supply a 3rd party with data via the B2B connection. For each additional 3rd party connection, you need additional Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer at the head office in the number of sites participating in the data.
Example at a head office with 10 locations:
-
The locations are to be evaluated in the head office with enterprise reports. The locations themselves do not work with the programme. The locations receive no licences, the head office 10 Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer.
-
The sites now want to transfer additional data to a 3rd party, each site also receives an Enterprise Reports & UX/IF Data Transfer licence. Each location can now also work with Enterprise Reports. Together with the application under A. you have 20 licences.
-
Now the head office wants to transfer the data for BI evaluations to a 3rd party. Due to the existing licensing under A. no further licences are required for this.
-
Four of the 10 locations now want to connect another 3rd party. These locations receive the ER licence in addition, so they each have the number 2 x ER licence.
-
If the head office wanted to connect another BI or another service, licences would be added there again per location, i.e. another 10.
Use at the head office with licensing at the location is not provided for in the standard. Similarly, no use in the location with licensing in the head office is possible in the standard. Please coordinate any existing needs with us as part of a project.
Latency of data provision...
Due to system-related algorithms, it may take up to 2 days to upload the booking data for the first time, depending on the amount of booking data.

Customer base at the head office
If a location uses the customer master, you also need a customer master licence at the head office. In addition, the demand for the customer base is described for the corresponding products at the head office.
The Accounting licence is required for each participating location and once at the head office if you account at the head office. If the head office uses Accounting, you also need a client master licence at the head office.
Only if individual locations explicitly use accounting for themselves do you need accounting licences only for these locations.
