SOT Krystal 21

For technical data see hardware table SOT Pyramid Passport 32

The Krystal 21 unit is intended for positioning on a table or your sales counter because of its compact design. The particularly slim design of the floor-stand variant can also be elegantly fixed to the floor. Both variants are supplied with a base plate, which you can remove to mount the unit directly on the substrate if you have the highest design requirements.

There is no conversion kit between floor stand and table top model, the unit must then be exchanged.

Variant floor stand with base plate...

If you use the floor stand without a base plate, make sure that the attachment and placement are carried out in such a way that no force is exerted on the tower (e.g. through strong unintentional jostling).

Service on site

The most important thing in advance: The SOT is designed in such a way that it usually functions for the planned period of use without malfunctions. This also does not require any of the maintenance services normally associated with vending machines. This is also part of the environmentally friendly and at the same time cost-saving concept of the Hypersoft SOTs.

In the event of any technical fault, simply contact your trusted Hypersoft support. We then determine together whether it is a software or a hardware problem and take care of both - another advantage of a complete solution from a single source.

The compact design requires technical expertise in the rare event of a malfunction. However, as the units are too large to be exchanged in our standard RMA procedure, we strongly recommend using a rental variant with included on-site service, which is ensured by the manufacturer. All spare parts and work as well as an ongoing warranty are included.

Installation on site...

For on-site installation, we can fall back on the manufacturer. For this, you only make the preparations and receive the installation at a fixed flat rate.

Of course, you can also carry out the installation with your technicians, which is particularly cost-effective for you (and also environmentally friendly, as no travel is necessary). Our online support assists you via remote installation.

Technical data of the Krystal 21...

The technical equipment of the SOT is adapted to the Hypersoft SOT software.

The integrated industrial PC with Windows operating system supports the animations and graphics of your SOT menu and displays them fluently and crisply.

The Verifone Countertop P400Plus Hypersoft Pay Edition or the Lane 500 is used as the payment terminal. Herewith you have the particularly favourable conditions and powerful services from the Hypersoft Pay programme.

Indoor or outdoor...

The units are used indoors in a fixed position as standard. If you want to position the units differently, move them or even use them outside the indoor area, please contact us separately with the planned description of use so that we can prepare a quotation for you. Please note that the units are in no way designed for unattended operation.

Remote Commander

The Remote Commander is available for all support and interventions in the standard. For the operation of the SOT, the Remote Commander has been extended as described in the Out of service and similar situations section.

Please also note the SOT Information for Administrators.

Service call from SOT User

Your customers can trigger a service call when needed. The individual text of the notification is then displayed with the messaging system at the respective checkout or other station. You determine this in the settings of the SOT service messages.

Other PCs that are not cash registers can also display the service call.

Before the service call is triggered, the user is asked whether the service should really be called.

SOT Multi-printer 444

The standard POS Multi-printer444 is installed in the machine. You can therefore use standard paper rolls.

Printer messages to station...

The Hypersoft POS printer management can generate messages in case of malfunctions (this is known to the operators if, for example, the POS printer cover was not closed properly). In order for your operators to see the SOT printer messages at the POS, you can select a station for printer messages, which will be notified in case of print faults. As a rule, this will only be in the messages that the paper will soon be used up. If your employees do not have time at the moment, the system repeats the message at the next printout or based on your desired interval.

When the paper runs out, a sensor detects this and an error message appears on the SOT. Operation is then no longer possible. To prevent this from happening in practice, there is another sensor that detects when the paper is almost used up. This status is then reported to the POS system. See the Bon roll sensor on the SOT section for the best way to set this up for you.

Arrange with your co-worker a procedure that immediately after this message, the special long paper roll again, so that it can not come to a paper end with a customer.

Many things about handling are described right here. The Pyramid SOT Printer VKP 80 section is about more advanced things, but they also influence the error messages described here.
