Installation on site...
For on-site installation, you can opt for installation on the counter (table top), on a wall bracket or free-standing.
You can order the brackets in advance and thus already take them into account during "your shop construction". Later on, it can also be easily mounted on the standard brackets. The units are to be connected to power (socket) and two LAN connections. One LAN connection for the SOT and one for the payment terminal.
In the standard version, installations are therefore particularly cost-effective for you (and, since no travel is necessary, also environmentally friendly). Our online support assists you via remote installation. If desired, you have the option of booking our on-site installation service for this at any time.
The devices are provided to you as standard at an inexpensive monthly fee, which includes telephone support and warranty (spare parts dispatch in the RMA procedure).
Terminals other than Adyen P 400 Plus...
We use the 400 Plus bracket as standard, if you require an Ingenico Lane 5000 V1 this must be specified before ordering.
In the event of a technical malfunction...
The most important thing first: The Flex SOT is designed in such a way that it generally works without malfunctions for the planned period of use. This also does not require any of the maintenance services normally associated with vending machines. This is also part of the environmentally friendly and at the same time cost-saving concept of the Hypersoft SOT.
In the event of any technical fault, simply contact your trusted Hypersoft support. We then determine together whether it is a software or a hardware problem and take care of both - another advantage of a complete solution from a single source.
As most of the components meet high-quality industry standards and have been designed with this in mind, you can easily replace them yourself and arrange free support with our support team. Some Flex components cannot simply be replaced by the customer, so if they are defective we will arrange for an immediate replacement (depending on the availability of replacement devices). Technical data of the Pyramid Polytouch 32...
The technical equipment of the SOT is adapted to the Hypersoft SOT software. We use a SOT with a 32-inch full HD monitor as standard.
The integrated industrial PC with Windows operating system supports the animations and graphics of your SOT menu and displays them fluently and crisply. A single connector (LVDS) also provides the video signal and power to the touchscreen (no additional wiring is required). This clever plug & play principle shortens the installation effort enormously and thus saves costs. A single high-quality power supply unit powers all integrated devices, including the printer, scanner and even the EC device.
The Verifone Countertop P400Plus Hypersoft Pay Edition is used as the standard payment terminal. This gives you the particularly favourable conditions and powerful services from the Hypersoft Pay powered by Adyen programme. For example, you can cancel payments made at the SOT at the POS system (including giropay) or make subsequent refunds.
Alternative payment terminal Ingenico Lane 5000:
We use the Verifone 400 Plus bracket as standard, if you require an Ingenico Lane 5000 V1, please specify this when ordering at the latest.
Indoor or outdoor...
The units are used indoors in a fixed position as standard. If you want to position the units differently, move them or even use them outside the indoor area, please contact us separately with the planned description of use so that we can prepare a quotation for you. Please note that the units are in no way designed for unattended operation.
The Remote Commander is available for all support and interventions in the standard. For the operation of the SOT, the Remote Commander was extended as described in the section Out of service and similar situations.

Your customers can trigger a service call when needed. The individual text of the notification is then displayed with the messaging system at the respective checkout or other station. You determine this in the settings of the SOT service messages.
Other PCs that are not cash registers can also display the service call.
Before the service call is triggered, the user is asked whether the service should really be called.
If the document is pulled during printing, this will definitely lead to defects and malfunctions in the printer. That's why it's good that the printer is positioned to the side behind the payment terminal. Any error document should also be switched off, otherwise it may fall down.
Even though the Passport 32 printer is much more secure, the positioning can largely prevent unqualified pulling. Of course, you should keep the accessibility requirements in mind. One advantage of the standard printer is that you can use standard paper.

Printer messages to station...
The Hypersoft POS printer management can generate messages in case of malfunctions (the operators know this when, for example, the POS printer cover was not closed properly). In order for your operators to see the SOT printer messages at the POS, you can select a station for printer messages, which will be notified in case of print faults. As a rule, this will only be in the messages that the paper will soon be used up. If your employees do not have time at the moment, the system repeats the message at the next printout or based on your desired interval.
Agree a procedure with your employee that the special long paper roll will be used again immediately after this message so that a customer does not end up with paper.
