Order center

The controller (programme name for Hypersoft Stock Management) can calculate needs-based orders based on current situations. Several variants of target stocks and percentage adjustment options are available for automation. There are different procedures, from which you can choose the one that suits your processes and use the suggestions below to integrate them into your business processes.

You also have alternatives in the controller to using the mouse and keyboard through the touch-optimised programmes. This is used to work with tablets in the warehouse or directly at the point of sale, for example, to post the goods receipt, book transfers and trigger orders. Please also see the chapter Order Center Touch Mode.

If you want to use automatic purchase orders or order proposals, these are calculated in the MRP monitor as purchase requisitions and then transmitted to the order center. This means that the MRP monitor also comes into play for every procedure for automatic purchase order determination. Likewise, the order centre is always used to send orders to suppliers. The order center also directly supports other functions, so that you can use it to process all areas:

  • Purchase orders to vendors
  • Free goods receipt
  • Goods receipt (transaction-based using purchase orders)
  • Free posting (internal postings)
  • Free return deliveries (to vendors)
  • Return deliveries (transaction-related to vendors)
  • document overview
  • template management
  • Store orders with central stock management

Requirements for the use of the order centre

The basis for using the Order Center is given by entering the item master data, suppliers and storage locations. If order proposals are to be calculated, the stock specifications must also have been entered accordingly. The order centre is used for all activities to transmit orders to suppliers and to carry out internal bookings.

Administrators and Installers

Please note that reasonably powerful PCs are recommended for the operation of the Order Centre. For use on weaker mobile devices, we recommend establishing a remote control session to a powerful PC for this purpose. A powerful use of the Order Centre should therefore be configured so that the connection to the database takes place in the LAN.
