You can expect 100% availability and fast response times from a correctly set up system without external interference.
In order to connect the POS system with the services of the portal, not only must the interfaces be set up, but communication channels must also function. Communication takes place via defined URLS and ports, which must be taken into account by the administrator of the POS system through releases. Especially after work has been carried out on your network, communication problems may occur if the settings are changed or if new devices are not configured accordingly. Yes you can, please have a look at the possibilities in the section Sort - Order of the items.
Please bear in mind that in general all conditions must be fulfilled that also apply to the POS system or stock management. Mostly, in this case to assignment of the (new) items to the sales outlet of the location is missing. This is how you check all the possibilities:
Please check whether the item is Saleable.
Please check whether the item has been assigned a range.
The system must have time to transfer the items to the location. This is done with the webclearing.
Then you have to update the shop, see Synchronisation of the master data or wait for the automatic update (overnight).
If the item still does not appear in the webshop, check the product group assignment; the item may have been assigned to a product group that you have not yet assigned in the webshop, see: eSolution product groups
Item and price information is automatically updated daily at the TTA via web and portal clearing. If you need a faster update, please follow the workflow below:

Adjustment of item and/or price information within your central item master.

Execution of the web clearing for the reconciliation of all locations with the head office - Link.

Execution of the "Synchronisation" in the eSolutions / configuration of the portal - Link.

Restart the affected SOTs or call up the shop again.

Many items become more expensive due to compulsory queries and options. If the first compulsory query has a surcharge, this is added beforehand when the item is viewed so as not to disappoint the customer. If you do not want this, you must define the first query at no extra charge. (Note: If necessary, this function will be made disengageable in the near future).
Questions about evaluations
In addition to the channel reports of the Report Manager, you have the possibility to create profit centres that represent the respective area. In many reports you can then group by profit centre.
Questions about POS integration
The shop needs so-called cost items in order to be able to correctly indicate service costs (tip) and delivery costs on the invoices. After creating both items with the characteristic cost item, these must be stored in the Online Order Connector. If this has not been done, the bookings cannot be assigned to an item and appear without an item text (with price). Questions about locations
Locations must be selected in two places for them to appear in the shop:
First you maintain in eSolutions / Configuration / Location Overview the master data, images, opening hours and geo-information of your locations. Then, in the list display, the tick Participation in YourAPP must be activated at the very front for all locations participating in the shop.
Questions about In-House Order
2500 visitors are no problem for In-House Order. Of course, on-site connectivity and a strong server for the POS system are important.
Questions about operations
Depending on the workflow, online order processes can still be open at the end of the day and cause disruptions. Of course, you should always close transactions promptly, but in an emergency, the programme can conveniently and automatically close remaining open online order transactions at the end of the day .
Questions about product groups
For the assignment of POS categories to the shop categories, these must be synchronised beforehand. If, despite a successful synchronisation, not all POS merchandise groups are displayed in the portal, this may be due to incorrect naming:
POS product groups may not have the same name as a higher-level POS main group. In this case, simply rename one of the duplicates and repeat the synchronisation.
Marketing issues
Yes, you should and we recommend it in the section Best Practice Your own shop URL.
Deep links would be links that link directly into the webshop to a specific subpage. The more such deep links there are on your website or Instagram account, for example, the higher your Google ranking will be. We are aware of the requirement, but unfortunately the current shop does not have deep links at the moment. You can, however, already link to your social media channelsby adding appropriate tiles to on the homepage.
