Hypersoft mPOS

Hypersoft mPOS describes the different possibilities of using a POS system in a mobile way. A wide range of professional solutions is available to you:

  • Use of professional mobile devices or consumer hardware

  • Support for smartphone format and tablet format

  • Native mPOS or mPOS client apps for Windows, Android and iOS

  • Support of mPOS on payment terminals in the PayPOS version

mPOS is diversity as a concept...

Basically, there is the possibility to execute the bookings with the standard mPOS system on mobile Windows 10 or 11 devices or to install the variant mPOS Client-Server in order to be able to work with the mPOS on Apple iOS devices, Android devices and even directly on payment terminals. With Android and Apple devices, you can then also work in portrait format on tablets. If you want to use tablets in landscape format, then this is also possible with the standard mPOS and Windows, here even the operator lock, customer monitor and cash drawer are supported. If you only sporadically use many mobile devices, then the Freestyle UX concept for Android and Apple consumer devices in particular is the first choice for you.

The mPOS system already contains many defined logical processes, so that its setup can be carried out quickly and easily. The interface and the user interface are designed in such a way that they can be operated quickly and easily on mobile devices and even smaller screens. Depending on the devices, cameras, scanners and chip card readers are supported. By connecting to the Hypersoft POS system, all output devices such as front office printers and kitchen monitors can be used (if you want to print mobile, you should prefer Bluetooth to WLAN). Advanced settings are also shared with the Hypersoft POS system, so you can combine both solutions with maximum freedom. This allows you to use the comprehensive order system as well as the eSolutions connection, goods control and all other things connected to the Hypersoft POS.

A special feature is that you have to make a special call from the Freestyle app to permanently install the mPOS client on (your) Apple or Android consumer devices: Call up and activate the app for freestyle and permanent installation

Variants and formats of the mPOS system...

The mPOS system is optimised for mobile devices such as smartphones, payment terminals and tablets. The ePOS Tablet variant, which is designed for permanently installed tablets and is the only variant that also supports peripherals such as an operator lock, customer display and local printer connection, has a special status.

The one-handed portrait format is an extension of the normal portrait format, which is used according to preference and screen size.

The mPOS Client landscape format is another variant that has been specially developed for the mPOS Client and the Freestyle app. This allows you to set a special landscape format that can be used ergonomically on Apple or Android tablets, for example.

Using NoCOO with the mPOS

NoCOO's digital billing should be used not only for PayPOS but for all mobile mPOS variants. Even if you use belt printers, this is the best way to save paper rolls and save unnecessary trips.

Licensing of mPOS

One licence always corresponds to one device in use. In the standard version, there are mPOS handheld licences that operate on mobile terminals and payment terminals. If the mPOS is used on tablets or similar standard monitors, the ePOS tablet licences are required.

The mPOS client-server licences are intended for Android, iOS and PayPOS, whereby the individual devices (the clients) are licensed, the necessary server runs licence-free.
